At our main ranch in Dover-Foxcroft, we offer half day and whole day rides. These trails are on a combination of dirt roads and woods trails that take us into the scenic mountain areas in Piscataquis County, through game preserves, and into areas designated as "significant wildlife habitat". Rides from our ranch are the most popular and provide a safe horse experience for the novice as well as a lovely ride for those with more experience.

The day rides average five hours. Guests are responsible for their own lunches. The half days are approximately two and one half hours and include a lesson on safe trail riding techniques..

For our rides into the wilderness areas, we trailer to the National Historical site of Katahdin Iron Works and to our base on Sebec Lake where we ride to Spectacular Drew Valley and historical Onawa Lake where we enjoy views of the surrounding mountains.

We day ride to several scenic areas in these remote regions of Central Maine and return to our main ranch each evening. Rides are from 5 to 6 hours depending on the trail we ride we take.

If you are interested in overnight packages, we can arrange for stays at a remote wilderness cabin on the beautiful shores of Sebec Lake in the Wilamantic, Maine.

You may make reservations for (01) - (05) overnights. The list price is per each rider. We day ride from the cabins and return each evening to enjoy sunset over the lake. The cabins come with indoor bathrooms and showers, and complete kitchens. There are boats and canoes available for fishing or just a quiet evening on the Lake.
Many cabins have wood stoves and most have a screened in porch.

Our horses are mixed types with Quarter Horses, Morgans, Appaloosas, and Arabs. Most go in snaffles and hacamores. All are former event, dressage, or western show horses.

They are extremely well trained and offer safe rides for the novice or a challenge for the experienced rider. They are also used in our lesson and show program and many are used for our handicapped riders as well.
