Clinic Lesson Structure

Judith Cross_Strehlke Riding SUNDUST

An Open Invitation From:

Judith Cross-Strehlke
Level IV Advanced Centered Riding® Clinician

I currently have over 20 years experience traveling internationally and teaching Centered Riding® techniques.

Clinics are usually structured for two (02) or three (03) days.

We in Centered Riding® have found that this is the best length of time to really familiarize riders with the movement concepts we integrate into their riding skills.

One day clinics are a good way to introduce riders to Centered Riding® theory and are often followed by a two or three day clinic at a later date.

The format can be structured in several ways.

The following is a suggestion that many organizers use:

Two Day: Clinic Lesson Structure

1 Lessons begin each day with a two hour unmounted body and centering ground session. Everyone who rides should be encouraged to attend the ground work session because it lays the foundation for all the mounted work to follow.

2 Lessons are usually structured for groups of 4 riders for 1 hour and 15 minutes each. This allows for four (04) groups per day with 16 participants.

3 Although clinic organizers can charge their own fee, a minimum fee of $ 50.00 per lesson is suggested.

4 Please return the clinic booking contract information along with your $ 150.00 booking fee, to confirm your clinic dates.

5 We will confirm the dates you have requested if available. We will suggest alternative dates if they are not available.

6 We are currently booking for 2008.

7 We also have a Centered Riding® Organizers Manual that you can use with all the information you will need to know to hold a clinic.
